Scare of my life

So, as you know, we're staying at our neighbours place this week while our decorating gets finished. They're on vacation, so we're on our own. Last night I met up for drinks and dinner with a colleague was visiting from Germany.

I got home about 9.30pm.... when I travel I have my Bose headphones and loud music and can't hear a thing.

I put the key in the lock.....and the door wouldn't open. A little worried I figured the builder must have been in during the day. I was in the process of trying the second lock (that I hadn't used) and the door flew open!

Apparently Nick's sister had decided to turn up to do laundry and bake cookies. It was 9.45pm by this time. Who bakes cookies at that time of night?

I nearly had a heart attack. Anyway, they left eventually. Mind you, it made me want my own place back.
