At last - somewhere to live for August

Thank goodness for craigslist.com - it's a lifesaver. I was very dubious when I first got to NY about it as I'd never heard of it. I found our first apartment through it, our second, and now our third:) I'm now a convert - it's like ebay, but local.

There was an ad for a short term lease in Hoboken, where we'll be living once the condo is ready. When she called yesterday, it sounded like a match made in heaven. She's selling her condo, and it'll take at least a couple of months to close. We don't have too much stuff with us as it's storage so this is perfect. The only request is that it's always ready for a realtor to take around potential buyers. Given we're not there most of the time, that's not a problem at all.

The best thing is that it's an extendable lease - so if the builder isn't ready again, we can at least extend.

All I have to do is find a bed (as there isn't one), and a TV (coz i won't survive without it). LOL
