Got my hair cut!

It's been so hot, and it's been a few months since I got my hair cut that I decided a change was in order. I've let my hair grow since Christmas and it was a long way down my back - since I got my new stylist in March it's been blond, brown, long bangs (fringe to the UK readers), short bangs etc etc.

So....we went with blond and red highlights, along with the brown - colour looks great. For the cut, I had my stylist cut off about 4 inches. It's shoulder length again. I can still pin it up easily, but it feels so light. I still have to keep a dryer at work, because i walk 10 blocks (at least), I always end up looking like a gypsy. I'm hoping having it a bit shorter will make a difference.

That said, it feels so weird to have it this short that I'm not sure I like it yet. Tomorrow is when I dry it myself for the first time. Time will tell.

At least my hair grows quickly, it'll be long again by September!

Overall, I think it's a good move.
