A graduation AND an engagement

The weekend went like a charm, graduation was great - lots of pics and celebrations. Penny made it for a bit which was a great surprise and I really appreciated it (thank you!!). Was a great time. Then, at lunch on Sunday that Carrieanne and Chris were hosting Chris proposed. it was very cute! I tried to put the links to the pics in here but they didn't work. On the downside, Trevor was told that his company is being bought out so there's loads of uncertainty about whether he'll be able to keep that job and travel. We've decided to march on with buying the condo on the proviso that he's meeting with a headhunter in New York to keep his options open. There are lots of jobs here, and companies are open to getting visas. the trick is to do it right in time with his green card application.

Nothing is ever simple. It's been crazy mad at work....Tim gets in tomorrow for a week's vacation which will be cool. I'm so looking forward to seeing The Odd Couple, Billy Connolly and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.....all in about 3 days. Yeeeeeha
